Convenience Store Chain, Environmental Assessment and Investigation

Sovereign supports a major convenience chain’s Real Estate, Construction and Environmental Divisions by performing Phase I and II environmental site assessments, ecological assessments, geotechnical investigations, stormwater management, and lead based paint, asbestos and PCB surveys. Sovereign lends support to the client’s Environmental Division by providing compliance audits and evaluations for existing and newly construction stores in regard to underground storage tank (UST) systems and operation and maintenance of water treatment systems.

Sovereign actively participates in the pre-acquisition phase of land development by providing site assessment services to identify all recognized environmental conditions in order to support the innocent landowner defense for the purchaser. Sovereign performs third party monitoring of asbestos and lead abatement projects, as well as provides expert testimony for the client’s development projects. Sovereign completes more than 60 site assessments and geotechnical investigations annually, with a portfolio value of approximately $1M.
